I have to say I dont understand some people, but if she is used to going out,it could be that her reaction was due to being kept in, rather than any wounds, especially if they had checked her over - Ginger always wanted to go out as soon as he came home from a dental, despite his eyes still looking slightly glazed from the anaesthetic, and the one and only time I had to keep him in (after a lump removal and dental), he started acting depressed after a day or so, didn't want to eat, tried to avoid the tray and constantly sat in front of the door, so it could be that was wrong with her, although the fact she is now missing isn't good. And I have come across owners that are worse than this, at least they did check her over, sounds like they did try and keep her in, and have contacted people to let them know she is missing - I always go to the neighbours first, esp if one of mine has been out overnight, as they are up before me, and will sometimes take them in their house.
