Update on these kitties

After picking up these babes I then got a phone call the following night  :sneaky:  The daughters had been up all night crying and were inconsolable so they wanted the kitties back  :tired:  I couldn't really say no but what I did say to them was it was on the condition the older one's were spayed and neutered before I returned them  ;)  I had them booked in yesterday and they were both done and all were returned last night.  The hubby is going to build them a cat run for out the back which I suppose is a better outcome than them having to be rehomed  ;D  The road they live on is really too busy to let them have free access and I hope for their sakes, they do learn from losing the mum cat.

Had a phone call earlier on today about 2 older kittens and a 6 week old one.  The mum had been killed last night on a busy road and the owner was worried the others would reach the same fate  :'(  :'(  She has decided to rehome the 2 older ones from a previous litter and there was one remaining kitten from the last litter which will be 7 weeks old on Sunday.  I couldn't really have a go about the other kittens going too young as mum is now dead and the family are heartbroken over her.  I felt really bad taking the youngsters but she feels that it's not fair on them living where they are.  When I was on my way in, there was also a little grey kitten that looked about 3-4 months old playing outside with 2 older cats  >:(  I did knock on the womans door but there was no answer.  Aparently her cats are out 24/7 and are just let in to feed.  I've left my phone number for her to contact me, the older ones haven't been done and the kitten won't last long on the road.  I'm going to offer to get them spayed/neutered for her and to try and persuade her to part with the younger one so he can be rehomed.  I will take some piccies tomorrow as I've got to go back out to try and trap remaining kitten from the minx.
