HOPE: found in an appalling condition  after travelling from Taiwan  for  6 in a sealed container, it took her many weeks  to  win  her  battle  for  life.  Hope  has an opaque eye and malformed foot and is a feral. In view of this she will spend  her life on her foster mums farm.

Poor wee lamb. How devestating if they hadn't found the kitty on time. Thank goodness for noisey cats!

To think I might not see those eyes, makes it so hard not to cry, and as we say our long goodbyes, I nearly do.

Taken from todays Metro:

A black  cat survived 13 days with no food or water after falling behind a cupboard.  Ed's owner, Shirley Collis feared he had deserted her after went missing last month.  She ripped up plaster boards, knocked out bricks and even checked the fridge as she hunted for her elusive pet.  She gave up after five days, thinking the 2 year old had left home in Tewkesbury. A week later, Mrs Collis, 58, heard a familiar miaow and found he had fallen down a 6cm gap behind her kitchen units.  She said "he was terrified".

Poor little lad.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
