my cats are more in than out but yesterday I opened the backdoor for Cosmo and he was off.  Usually, he's out patrolling "his" patch for a couple of hours before trotting in and out until we decide it's too late, too cold etc and we shut the door.  But yesterday he was gone for over 3 hours  :scared: even Jessie ventured out on the balcony to see where he'd got to and she likes the warm indoors.

Despite calling him in, he still didn't appear >:(.  Then we heard this massive screeching and yowling and Cosmo leaping over the fence and ran up the path and backstairs at a 100mph.  He didn't stop until he hit our bedroom.  His nose was bright pink, he was breathing very fast and he had THE bushiest tail I'd ever seen  but since then he's been sleeping (see photo) reckon he came across a butch moggie who also thought that garden was "his"  :evillaugh: more difficult to intimidate than his sis

I've been working at home today so the heating's been on and they've been comatose beneath the radiator...like a couple of ginger sloths!
