Lotion licking cat!!???

Kylie always sniffs my eyes  - I wondered if they can smell salt or something

Max seems to like the smell of my mascara, keeps sticking his nose in my eyes

They seem to enjoy it, not sure if its because they like the taste or they're trying to get it off us because it doesn't belong.

Lirael loves deodorant, lotion, makeup... and in general me.

So she'll start off at night cleaning herself and end up cleaning my arm, face, neck, ears... whatever she can reach before I move.

And boy does she have a rough tongue! She's drawn blood before on my face.

Oliver loves licking me thoroughly just after I put some lotions and hand creme on...    Okay, right now I am using Cleo products, which always have some yummy scents, mine peaches and cream right now, I don't know if that stimulates his ever active appetite... But the thing is Hobbes used to do the same thing, when I was using a juniper scent (while the scent was gorgeous it was nothing appetizing at all...)   Is it normal for cats to be attracted to lotions and body cremes?  Is there some agent that does them the trick?  It seems to me a bit gross and hard to understand why, and I just hope the lotion doesn't contain anything harmful to the cats.  Do you think I should discourage him from doing it???
