There are pics in Rescue and REhoming, called new foster - mum and kittens. If I can't find a home for them by tomorrow though, they have to go back to the rescue sadly.
Please spay your cat

i will dont you worry i think she said they have over a hundred cats there atm and lots of kittens,
Think its better to decide age etc once im there coz like some of you have been saying older cats can be just as nice and playfull,
Kittys that friendly think she would probably get on with any cat lol

An adult cat might be easier to match as the purrsonality can be determined more easily at that age.  All kittens are playful but some grow out of it and it sounds like your kitty is not one of those.  When I got Jaffa and his brother Magpie they were both kittens and both playful.  But as they grew up, Jaffa remained kittenish while Magpie settled down to the more sedate lifestyle of a mature cat (ie sleeping a lot!).  He's 10 now, but Jaffa can give young Mosi a run for his money.

Good luck finding her a friend!

Some older cats do well too, my 10 year old puts up with the girls antics but doesn't join in often.

You could always get an older cat and a kitten   :evillaugh:

im in dereham norfolk,
I phoned one up today called castaways which is near me but they cgarge £40 per cat and they havent been neutured or had any vaccinations so i thought the price was a bit steep,

Kitty cost £35 she had been spayed, Vaccinated and was flea and worm treated before i got her,

Thanks for the idea i will have a look

i dont think it would as she is playing almost 24/7 its more like she is still a kitten herself lol
I would like an  older cat as i feel that it takes cat rehoming centres longer to home them as everyone wants kittens but dont think it would be fair on them coz kitty wouldnt give them any peace lol she would bully them into playing,
My only thought about getting a kitten is maybe kitty will bully them?

Aww. I'm sure Babs went to a great home.

And now it's your chance to get Kitty a new friend.

Probably a kitten then as you don't want a very much older cat as it may not like the amount of energy that Kitty has.

i wish i got 2 when i got kitty as at the time there was another cat there called babs and her and kitty were great friends,
I gave them a call earlier and atm they eithier have little kittens or older cats but think an older cat would probably boss kitty around to much

You might want to give the rescue you got Kitty from a call and tell them you're interested in getting friend for Kitty.

Probably want the newbie to be around the same age so they can play together.

We got Smoke who's almost 2 now for Lirael who will be 3 in November. They love playing with each other! Or their trying to trip me on the steps... either way ;)

Lirael was an only cat for almost 2 years and though she had our company I think she really has loved having friends around.

i was thinking maybe a kitten or one roughly the same age as her so that she would have someone to play with or maybe a playfull older cat, Definatly cant get a bossy cat as i think she would get rather upset and feel as though the new cat was taking over,

Dont want her to feel left out as she craves attention all the time whilst im typing on here she will cme and walk all over the keyboard lol

shes a very playfull cat not bossy and will be bullied easily as there is a huge black and white cat around here and it is always picking on her and she doesnt bother fighting back she just makes loads of noise and waits for me to go and rescue her lol

Kitty is gorgeous!  :Luv: I personally feel gender, age etc. are irrelevant, what you need to take into account is the cats personality that you already have. Is Kitty quite bossy? Or timid? If you got an assertive cat would she be bullied? Those kind of things.

I have one female cat atm called kitty who is one years old i rescued her from my local cat rehoming centre i would like to get her a play mate as she is a very playfull little girl and think she wold love another cat to play with,

Im just not sure weather to get a kitten or an older cat or a male or a female?

Kitty has been spayed and i have had her about 3 months,
