I wouldnt use someone off Gumtree, i can think of one undesirable who advertised themselves on there.

You are not going to believe this but I have not even thought about her for a week or so.

Hope you manage to get Charlie sorted soon
Cats don't come when they are called,
They take a message and get back to you later.

Best thing is to phone your vets and see if they can reccommend someone to you. Sometimes VNs or kennel staff offer pet sitting services.

Hi Ela,
THanks for your reply. Charlie doesn't have all the proper injections so we're trying to avoid that if at all possible so please don't worry about contacting your in laws.
But thanks alot anyway!

My Daughters out laws in laws  live in Port Seaton and they use a Cattery, I know that is really not want but as a last resort and if the little one is injected it may be necessary. I can find out for you which cattery and their opinion of it.

cat sitting in Edinburgh?

Hi there.
We're off on holiday next week and the person who was supposed to be taking care of Charlie, our one year old indoor cat is now unable to, through no fault of their own.
Are there any members in the Edinburgh area who can recommend good cat sitters? I've seen a couple of them advertised on gumtree but just wanted to check their credibility if poss before making any further enquiries.
Any advice would be most appreciated!
Thank you.
S
