One elderly FIV puss with issues (many issues,) oh yes he lost all his teeth as well!
One young puss that has lost an eye
One young female with cat flu, very snotty!
One elderly female nothing on her, with liver and kidney problems, weighs only 1.4kg
One cat that is a nervous of her shadow (literall!)
One bosterious male puss that is not good with kids, likes men over women
One black puss that escaped from fosterers pen and now is AWOL (although has been seen!) the cleaner didnt attach the latch hook properly (very much by accident, cannot blame anyone there)

Typical of many cat rescues then  ;D

Have you one like our  Minge too? :- Minge  is the worlds most miserable cat, he is Victor Meldrew of the cat world.  He is looking for an owner who is equally as miserable so they can share this passion and sit in front of a fire and be miserable together.  Minge is an old chap who was not welcome in his owners retirement home as he may have added to their misery with his long face.  If misery was an Olympic game Minge would win  the gold medal.  He is completely mute unless his feed bowl is left empty!

Fingers crossed they all find good homes - the oldies always pull at my heartstrings, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket on Sat, so I can have a bigger house to help more!!
Please spay your cat

I think we are getting the same here in Gateshead as we have a right bunch in at the moment we have

1 FIV boy who is still lashing out at his fosterer even though he's not really feral
1 elderly FIV boy whose been very poorly but picking up
1 elderly old girl who has arthritis so problems with her legs as well as kidney problems and possibly other things we don't know about
1 boy who is blind in one eye after an accident
1 kitten with a poorly eye which will have to be removed
1 FIV boy who was rehomed but has come back as the person's cat wouldn't take to him
1 very nervous young lady
1 long stay cat who has just been diagnosed as dibetic

Where are all the normal cats  - like you though we will persist and we'll rehome them in the end

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Yes Mark!! This puss is driving me insane....

Anyhows.. although we cannot be picky it would be good to have some "normal" cats in our care for a few months!!

It would seem that all the local rescues to us are giving out our number so we are getting the ones that nobody wants so to speak!! We are abut fed up with this i can tell you!!

We have nine cats to come in and no room at the inn! Unless we rehome a cat in the meantime...

The only good thing is that all our kittens are just about spoken for and we didnt have to do much to find them homes. Just need to sort out homechecks.....

I am sure it could be worse, but not alot...

Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

Just a comment really.. I have people looking for some lovely cats but i have just had a look at our "fosterers and cats list" and find the following.

Oh my, what a mixture... ! How an earth did we end up with that lot.... Anyhows, i am sure with time homes will come along for each of them.
