Thanks, yes Lynn it is difficult to come to terms with these things, sorry to hear about your granny, a very distressing thing.

Sorry to hear you had been in hospital for so long, if we had known we'd have sent you a card but glad your better now. I bet 5 wks without your furbabes was a nightmare.

Also sorry about your mum leigh, My granny who i think is same age as your mum has alzheimers so i sort of know how distressing it is and what i have in front of me

Yes Mark, it has a lot to do with my puds, they've been great and really kept me going. don't know what life qould have been like without them, they're all so loving. Alfie virtually licked me to death when I came home from the hospital and they all love to climb all over me at every opportunity

Hi Sam and Chris,

I've missed all you guys on the forum, Alfie's licking my arm so it is hard to type

. Mum's condition is deterirorating as her doctor told the the other week that she has a "degenerative brain disease" called Wernick-Korsikov and the stroke has come on top of that but she does manage a few words occasionally, it takes time to come to grips with these things and adapt one's expectations.

Hello everyone,

I've just fixed my PC and I thought I'd pop in to say hello. Firstly I'd like to say a big thank you to all my friend on Purrs who have sent me messages, I really appreciate your findness and concern. I exchanged e-mails with Clare recently and asked her to post here to let you know I'd be back as soon as I'd got my PC working and here I am

. Things have been pretty rough and I spent 5 weeks in hospital and have only recently started back at work but feeling a lot better. Mum is much better cared for in her new Nursing Home but she had a stroke recently and doesn't seem to know I'm there when I visit, I'm slowly coming to terms with it.

All the puds are very well and happy and I thought I'd post a few new pics

First off a couple of Alfie "re-arranging" my drying laundry, his favourite game.

Frankie watching TV and the boys asleep on the bed

Frankie looking his cutest making those "I want a lap and I want it NOW!!" eyes

and the boys asleep in the bedroom, love the position of their tales.
