Helpful Advice With Carrier/Food Please

I bought the Netto collapsable carrier, from the thread further down just popped in on the off chance was surprised they had any left (there was 8 ) but some people may not see it as a bargain, and it is huge well made and I would think it would easy take 2 adult cats, best of all its collasable I've got enough junk to try and find place for without more little used but bulky stuff

Some rescues wont allow you to use cardboard carriers, we wont, as they dont always last. You might want to ring the rescue though, as we sometimes have carriers that have been donated in good condition, and as we have plenty, we let people have them for a small amount of money if they need one.

I second the tesco one, I bought mine from elsewhere and they were £25 + postage so that's a real bargain    They have seatbelt straps, stroking holes and open at both ends like a shell sorry forgot you're a bloke, like the car in Back to the future

I always get admiring glances when the boys are at the vets, today when the nurse brought them out to me they were in the same carrier (they had arrived in one each) I said that I had another carrier too and she said that she thought it looked like a double buggy so she put them both in together, how cute is that 

I would recommend getting two carriers though, one is fine for when they are babies but trying to a) get two full grown cats in one carrier without the other one popping out while you try and put number 2 in is virtually impossible and b) they will be bl00dy heavy!

I haven't yet difficult still spoke to homing officer and got a day or two to think

was only going to use the cardboard one to get them home so I can order good one from somewhere without worrying about delivery date

Please dont use the cardboard types they are totally inadequate and shouldnt be sold. Totally not worth the risk.

Just the smaller one to get them home in then? then buy a bigger one, or another of these Argos ones at a later date?

Wilkinsons always have kitten food but not sure if they are the cheapest though but I often to go wilkos for my wet cat food as they often have 2 for £5 etc on but they haven't got an offer on at the moment as I have been there today but still managed to get felix speciality jelly selection for £2.40 which I thaught wasn't too bad

What age would the kittens be? just i know how quick they grow and you'l need another one before you know it....a smaller one would be okay for doubling up for that distance

Nope no Range just looked the  haven't got this far up yet plus noticed that the direct competion to Ikea and we have one of those just up road so maybe they not coming

possibly but it would be a 30 mile round trip to return, might be better to just get one from somewhere

Just beware of cardboard ones, had a few stories of the bottoms falling out of them and cats escaping in unfamiliar, new neighbourhoods.

Argos do some pretty cheap ones, and when we picked Nina up we put a deposit down and they lent us a carrier which we returned the next day, could they not lend you carriers?

If its a real emegancy can you not get the cardboard carrier type or borrow one ( I have 2 where do you live) as for the whiskas I think Morrisons were doing a special on it

And best thing to do is check the supermarkets online section for price comparison. They usually have a 3 for 2 offer, but best to check.

Sometimes Pets at Home do an offer on large quatities of Whiskas.
