I think a behaviourist would be a good idea, your vet can refer you to one. They will work out a master plan with you and initally they will probably cover your house in trays     but it will work out to get you and your cat living in harmony again.

Bleach leaves behind ammonia which can make them return to the same spot. Theres a pre-made product called Simple Solution or you can use biological washing powder followed by a spirit, this will completely break down the urine.
Does she poo in the tray?
When did it actually start?

She poos next to the litter tray. I would say that she as always done it but only once in a blue moon. So i put this down to just an accident. shes not an house cat and is allowed to go out when she likes. But always comes in at night.

If shes been fine before then i wouldnt put it down to her breed, there will be a reason, just need to work out what it is shes trying to communicate.
Are either of the other 2 a new addition to the family?
If its a stress behaviour then feliway may be helpful.

No I wouldn't say new addition my British blue boy is 2 now and she was doing this before but not so bad as shes getting now. I'm cleaning with bleach

Yes shes been to the vets and shes fine. We dont have a hood on the tray and all three  have been neutered. I have been looking on a bengal forum and it seems quite common with this breed.

Have you tried Danish Pink or corn litter? When all else fails we have found these two litters usually do the trick.

Ive tried all sorts at the mo im using catsan which is quite a good one.

What sort of litter do you use?

It may be that she doesn't like the litter as it might be too hard on her little paws!!!

Hi,
  Could someone please help me? Ive got a female bengal shes around eight years of age. The problem I have is that she will not use her litter tray.
shes quite happy to do it any where but in the tray. Ive also got two other cats a male british blue and a female manx. she does not sleep with the other two and as her own litter tray which the other two are not allowed to use. Because I thought this might be the problem that she could smell that they had been in it. But it doesnt seem this is the case. Could anyone out there please help
