Anastasia is certainly managing to eat with her wobbly jaw in fact the scrawny girl who arrived here has turned into a delightful pudding.
She is happy and enjoying life to the full and is the most loving girl in the world.

Oh poor Anastasia.  Yes, how will it affect her eating and grooming?

At least she is free of the buster collar, poor little mite.

Poor Anastasia has to live with a wobbly jaw, the wire has been removed and the break  hasnt healed, Her stitches have been removed from her ear so at least she is free of the Buster collar. She is very down in the dumps at present and very wide eyed, hopefully she will perk up later. You have to meet her to appreciate what a dear wonderful girl she is and I feel that life has been so cruel to her. If only I had had her with me sooner.

Anastasia is at the vets yet again today, she is having the wire removed from her jaw and stiches taken out of ear, really hoping this is going to be the end of all the treatment as today will be her third GA since we rescued her and the poor love has spent a total of 6 weeks wearing a buster collar.

Anastasia is much brighter this morning and managing to eat her food largely due to the perseverance of Aunty Claire yesterday and all the extra cuddles she is enjoying.  :)

Not really much change overnight other than the fact that shes less groggy, she`s still struggling to eat with the wired jaw and just picking dry food where she normally prefers wet, her poor chin is quite badly bruised too. Her ear amputation is a lot less swollen and doesnt seem to be bothering her at present.
She seems really happy in the house and the other cats know better than to be unkind to her.
Currently she is rehearsing the part of sleeping beauty.  :)

Well the adorable Anastasia has moved into the house and despite being groggy and unable to eat very well due to the wire in her jaw has serenaded us with her purrs. As always she asks for nothing more than a lap to curl up on. Anastasia has been so let down by the human race and yet her heart is still full of love for people; an amazing lesson to be learnt.

As we will hopefully see some sunshine soon   decided to post these pictures just in case anyone is doubtful of the need to apply sunblock to a white eared/tipped cat.
