Once I heard Micheal Gambon being interviewed. He was talking about doing a press junket, and for anyone whose ever had to do one of these, you'll realise after being asked the same question 30 times in an hour, both the interviewer and interviewee are running on auto pilot after about 6 hours into the thing. I've had to suffer a few myself.
At this particular press junket, Gambon was asked if he had ever had gay tendancies. (The film had a gay theme). He'd been asked that same question over and over and over that day...
He couldn't take any more and replied "I used to be gay once, but I had to give it up because it made my eyes water.." The jounalist wrote down everything without thinking, and the next week it was printed in a mag.
Dunno who this lady is, but I'd like to float the idea she's been quoted out of context, hadn't thought about what she was saying, and she's totally shot herself in the foot and her short term carreer prospects with it.... silly girl! Some people do realise that their life has changed and for a variety of reasons they have to rehome a pet. But some have the sense not to go blurting it to the press.
