I found the only effective way of removing cat hair was in a tumble dryer. Not the ones in a washer-dryer for some reason, but the stand-alone ones are usually very effective. Mind you, if it is an open weave or a knit then nothing works - just call it mohair and resign yourself to being a bit fluffy

Wish they would invent something for removing cat hair in the wash! Some of my clothes come out of the machine furrier than when they went in. I put it on several rinse cycles and even do a rinse cycle when the machine is empty, but my clothes are still covered with fur. Grrrrrr......

They had perfect fit indoor pouches down from £1.99 to 99p as discontinued and I bought all 10 boxes as I found willow liked the senior one I bought for clapton last week. She sniffed it and walked off  >:(

I had a result this morning. I picked up some clothes from the bathroom floor (I know I should have a basket!  :evillaugh: ) to wash and one of the cats had decided pee on them  :sick: . One of the shirts is stripey and some of the stripes are white. A red shirt had run a few weeks ago and the stripes were pink. I had used 2 different makes of colour run remover (including one made by dylon) but it didn't work. After the clothes came out the wash this time, the stripes were white again!    ;D - it says it contains oxygen bleaching agents.

I agree, had they advertised the fact they may have sold loads. I would not have known as I never to to Tesco, then again who knows Sainsburys may have something simlar and I have not noticed.

I got some washing tablets in Tesco today called d-toxy (made by dylon). Apparently, they kill 99.9% of germs, even at 30 degrees  :evillaugh:

I thought they might be good to wash pet beds as they nearly always say to wash them at 40 degrees which isn't hot enough to kill all germs.

Anyway, they are 8 in a pack and you use them with your normal detergent (one tab per wash)

They are reduced to 99p as discontinued (I didn't know they started selling them in the 1st place )  :Crazy:

I do like my cleaning products  :evillaugh:
