I think she is right they can love and do care and its wonderful when a cat like Misa starts to show he loves you.

Today he was lying on me in the greenhouse and he lays his head on my face and rubs and just purrs and purrs and purrs. he is not scent marking and its so wonderful cos he is not a lap cat but this is the one time he will become really affectionate.  :Luv: :Luv:

I notice the caption is "A cat" - nothing to do with the cat in the story. I am reading a book at the moment called "The 9 emotional lives of cats" and the author dimisses standard thinking on cats that the are aloof, selfish, narcissistic etc and says they are capable of love and other stuff  :Luv:

Which shows cats aren't completelty self-centred (not all the time anyway  :evillaugh: )

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain
