A friend of mine is married to an Asian chap (nice man, however), when Rosie had her accident and he heard how much it cost in Vet's fees, he told me that it was a ridiculous amount and had it happened at 'home', she would have been eaten.

I thought he was joking and laughed if off, a few days later I spoke to my friend who is married to him, and she told me he was still spitting feathers over it and couldn't understand why I would spend so much money on what he termed as a 'large rodent'! >:(

I have read and seen some terrible things recently. Enough to make me want to help. I know we have animal welfare issues here but there is much more cruelty and suffering to be addressed in Asia

Neverthless, I am disgusted that so called humans can eat cats and dogs  >:(

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain
