Me too   - I saw a small snippet on the news of dogs being rescued in an inflatable.  My heart goes out to all the animals affected by the floods, I would imagine an awful lot of wildlife have lost their habit and nests and babies too  :(    We have had absolute downpours here, I was so worried the night we had the big storm, our resident seagulls' babies were really crying in the nest and there was nothing we could do, thankfully they survived, all through the storm you could hear the gulls crying out, normally they go quite silent when the weather is bad.

I've been thinking and worrying about them too and join you in sending hugs and purrs.
