Aw - what a nice idea!  Cody's rellies are almost as  :Luv: as he is!

Here's the boys family tree:

The first one is Mum - blacknwhitemoggyus, the second is an E-fit of what  Dad may look like, he is believed to be going by the name of greytabbyus.  He is currently being sought by the KSA (Kitty Support Agency) over unpaid maintenance  :evillaugh:

Jaffa's family tree follows a similar pattern!  Parentage unknown!  Presumably his mum was known to the rescue but all I know is he had 2 black and white siblings (both boys) - one of course being Magpie.  I often wonder what happened to the little one I left behind (yes I did feel guilty!  But I just couldn't cope with 3 cats in a 1 bed flat).

Here's Mosi family tree

Mum - Stacym Nortiebutnice (Mia) - chocloate tortie somali

Dad - Ch Emanan Geronimo (Mojo) - usual somali

On Mum's side granddad is Ch Manot Nestles - chocolate somali

and grandma is Manot Kooky Kat (Kooky) - chocolate tortie somali variant

On Dad's side granddad is Ch Emanan Squirrel Nutkin (Nuts) - usual somali

and grandma is Brizlincoat Mae West - blue somali

thats the problem with show cats gill..for every champion produced they probably produce atleast 2 or 3 litters worth of "normal" standard to achieve what they are after.

tried to reply to ruths post but it wouldnt let me

   both of you's .. i luv the efit  :evillaugh:

future is orange..gorgeous isnt he, his "pet" name is suprise suprise TANGO  ;D  Personally i think cody actually looks more like his father altho obviously you can tell the genes run strong  :evillaugh:  (well not anymore as they are now all neutered..apparently having done their bit for the laperm gene pool  :(..sooooo no more cody's  :( :(   (that line seemed to leave very strong gene footprints in its offspring so i suppose when trying to introduce new genes into uk laperms using them all the time isnt desirable...fortunately that means the breeding laperms in the country arent used too often and end up being neutered  ;D  )

They are still importing permies fairly often for the health of the breed..i say they, you understand there are only a dozen or so breeders in the country.

Love Lexys family tree

Now I just happen to have the birmans pedigree card here  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Sorrry but have no pictures, wish I had cos some champs in the line up  ;D

Adouzlo Borimir (Ducha) and Adouzlo Napoleon Devere (Franta)

Parents - Aberogwr Delph (Sire) and Adixlo Paw Paw (Dam)

Grand Parents - Sitah Burmah Bay ? and Aberogwr Alchemilla (Champ).......wish could read the writing with daft squiggles!
Binymah ? Gustavo and Adivelo Zapphire Velvet

Great Grand Parents  - Laurant Coeur De Lyon ** (Champ) and Laurant Su Lyn (Champ)
Laurant Kubla Khan (Grand Champ) and Lingcomb Attalanta
Lynjaka Quintiero and Binymah Akyab ?
Charlsim Charisma and Aduelo Mitzi Sukim

I also have the next line up and very strange cos ** is also in this group too! Mosy of chamos cos there are another 4 in the GGG parents are all except one on the sires side of Franta and Duchas parents and he was a blue point like Ducha.

I am sure there are some pictures, will have to look again now, cos found this quite fascinating when I was doing a search. Where do they get those names

You know my soft spot for permies....

To join in some fun this Lexy's family tree:

Sire:  Luvidipuss Claphamthomas

Dam: Lady Purlondonbridge

Grandparents: they ask not to be named since Luvidipuss chose to have kittens out of kittylock.

yes well spotted cc  ;D

Aby's are one of the permitted outcrosses for the laperm (this is / was very necessery to ensure a healthy genepool since laperms are still fairly rare)

there are only 2 or 3  outcrosses going way back in codys pedigree and those have been aby and 1 somali  ;D
