Was he caught?

I spent over 2 weeks catching an injured feral   I was getting to the point where I never thought it would happen but eventually he went in the trap  :evillaugh:  It's a game of patience but you also have to pick the right time, and in this instance, night time is definitely the better option.  It may take a few days but don't let that put you off, if they are hungry, they will go in but make sure you are nearby so you can get him/her to safety asap.  Good luck, xxx

We have spent many hours evenings,  nights in fact early mornings too, sitting  watching a trap.  In that way it won't get into the wrong hands, sometimes it has been almost a week  (going home in between of course) before we won the battle, the feeling of happiness when you get the cat is worth the wait.

For me it was 3 nights of waiting and when we mannaged to trap him I cried, the feeling was so overwhelming.

The best time to catch would probably be evening time then.  I take it it's Lesley that's still trying to help you?  Is there anyone that can go with you at night so you can put the trap out and keep an eye on it?  If Lesley will loan you the trap, you would be best trying sardines in tomato sauce or Tuna.......they tend to love this and if hungry usually can't resist  ;)

Poor babe, I really hope he's caught soon  :(

If you try trapping then go for something like sardines in tomato sauce or kippers.

for a few months ive been trying to get hold of a stray cat around our area
twice ive had the help of someone from purrs who works in rescue
but each time we all went looking for the cat it didnt show ,

anyway the cat is a ragdoll i think or ragdoll cross

anyway hanging from the cat on one side is a big ball type thing i dont know if its a growth a tumour or very mattered clump of hair ,

whatever it is its discusting

i saw him last week and spent half hour trying to catch him but he hid under a parked car then ran off

the cat has been in this state now for several months

its a horrible thing to see tbh
very upsetting

i  have no idea who he belongs too  :(
