I decided to look it up anyway, should have done that in the first place
and found out that yes flies can carry worms/eggs
Houseflies can transmit intestinal worms, or their eggs, and are potential vectors of diseases such as tuberculosis.

I don't know about flies but we all know eating fleas does. Although I suppose in theory it would be possible if a fly landed on poo that had flea eggs in it and an egg attached itself to the fly then a cat ate the fly.

Well i wouldn't think that it was particularly good for them ...i have been told that eating insects and birds etc is what causes worms ??
