thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Kitten is a girlie, but the jury is still out on names!

well photos...

I guess you class her as 'black' , but in reality she is a dark choc brown with tabby markings.

Hi everyone, Ive been lurking for a while , reading only, so thought I had better be polite and say hello  ;D

I live in Kent, right down on the coast (hence the username) have shared my life with cats for many many years, and had been catless for quite a while as I devoted my time to dog rescue for a few years  after my last cat passed on to the bridge.  Ive not been well for the past year and have had to stop fostering for dog rescue although I still do the odd homecheck locally if asked.  I was recently given an unwanted kitten from yet another unwanted (read unplanned) litter - which made me realise what I have been missing.  After a thorough deworming/defleaing, she is off to the vet on thurs for her first vax.  Im quite out of touch with the catworld Im afraid, my last cat passing on 13 years ago.  So have been having a good read up on the forums.

Anyway - Hi to all, I am looking forward to participating more now Ive said hello.
