Just catching up on threads after a long absence ....

I'm so so sorry Tan.  I know that you and Garf had a special bond  and I know how much it hurts.

Garf was one of the originial Purrs babies and there are lots of us who are sharing your pain xx

RiP Garf ... my Zephyr and Foxy will look after you at the bridge until it's time to see your mummy again. :Luv2:

I've just seen this.   It doesn't make it easier knowing it was the only thing you could do.

RIP Garfy

Sorry, I've only just read this as I haven't been on here for a few weeks.
Tan, I'm so sorry. I know how unbearable the shock of losing a furbaby suddenly can be. Hope it's starting to ease a little now.

Sending lots of thoughts and

It’s not sunk in yet, and I don’t want it to but I lost Garf this am.

He had his 6mth health check and bloods taken as he nearly 13 yrs old in Dec and all came back good. He was always a bit of a chubba bubba so was concerned he has lost a bit of weight since and in last week wanting more food. Rang vets on Friday for advice. Made apt to take him down this am for test for thyroid and kidneys , bloods again  etc
Had to had him over in car park cause of this  :censored: covid virus. Vet came out and he had a lump in Bowles. No cure, only 2-6 months poss prolong his life with injections. I couldn’t put him through that as he is such a scaredy-cat at vets. So in the vet garden he went to sleep.
Still in shock really won’t accept it at the mo. I just thought he would have tests, it will be thyroid so can be controlled with tabs etc. Never thought I wouldn’t come home with him.
