An update on this wonderful man and his work.

Very sadly, he lost most of his cats when Aleppo fell to government forces. But he's back and still risking his life every day running his new sanctuary, which now includes a variety of other animals, as well as orphaned children. He teaches the children compassion toward animals. We need more people like this.

This saint of a man has stayed on in Aleppo looking after the cats that people have had to abandon when they fled the country. Oh, and he also drives an ambulance.
