It's taken me a while to be able to post this. It has hit us all hard here at Custard Hamstery. Mango was taken suddenly unwell. We took her the vets and they thought she had a pyometra however there was only a one sided swelling and we felt it wasn't this. We decided to go forward with immediate surgery in an effort to save her. Sadly it was not to be as the vet found that she had a twisted bowel which was inoperable and we had to let her go. She was beautiful and a vibrant character so full of curiousity yet so gentle. I can't get over it - my Mango gone. She was a wonderful mother and leaves us with her beautiful pups Nico and Samphire to carry on her lovely nature. I hope they are as special as you. Run free at the bridge my love. You are so much missed.
