Yes it was an anti inflammatory. He has begun to leave ever growing sore area alone thankfully

Am I right thinking the pain killer is anti inflammatory and will hopefully therefore help stop the itching.? Do hope so.

JUST BACK PAULA

VET WAS BRILLIANT. HE SAW A VERY YOUNG ONE LAST TIME AND JUST FELT SHE MAY HAVE LACKED SOME EXPERIENCE ALTHOUGH LOVELY

SHE SAID IT WAS EITHER FLEAS OR A BITE/ATTACK. SHE SHAVED MORE FUR OFF AND IT HAD SPREAD AS THOUGHT

THE VET CLEANED IT THOROUGHLY AND THEN GAVE HIM A PAIN KILLER. IT IS INFECTED. SHE WANTED TO GIVE ORAL ABS BUT WILL TRY LONG ACTING JAB FIRST AS DIFFICULT TO GET THEM DOWN ARCHIE

NO COLLAR BUT MAY CUSTOMISE SOME CLOTHING AS HE HAS MADE IT BLLED WITH GROOMING AND SCRATCHING SINCE HOME

It is just below his neck Rosella on his back.

I wondered about a comfy collar too, have one somewhere but don't know where

He can't go on like this so it will be back to the vet tomorrow
