The Bob Martins flea treatment has a very bad reputation for making cats ill.
Cats were once gods; they have never forgotten this, nor have the people they own.

I got some. Only a trained specialist can sell the frontline and aventage etc but if you wanna be stupid and buy bob martin theb lln anyone can sell it. They were actively promoting and upselling bob martin products. I normally get frol vets or online. I got frontline because i have been using it and trust it. Xxxxx

Animed Direct do flea treatments on line a bit cheaper than VetUK and delivery is usually next day, and is free. I don't go anywhere else now.

Frontline kills on contact. The flea doesn't have to bite. I think you're thinking of the injectable treatments. I used to have a cat - Samantha - who had a really bad flea allergy which the vet treated with monthly Frontline spot on.

Not sure that Frontline will help in an allergy situation as I think the fleas have to bite to die and that will activate the allergy.

The only one I know works cos fleas dont have to bite is Stronghold available only with a prescrpition or from vets.

There may be others but if so I dont know which ones.
