Hello......

Firstly, sorry we haven't been around for a little while. Life has become so complicated these days trying to run the rescue full time and juggle parenthood. There simply just isn't enough hours in the day.

Sunny Harbour is swamped with cases and there is sadly never a shortage of cases needing help.

We've had some interesting and heart breaking cases over recent months and its been very hard going at times. Fortunately we have a great team of volunteers behind us to help keep us going.

We've even extended our online shop, Pawfect Posts to a physical shop locally so people can support the rescue while they shop and we are based in the local community for giving advice on neutering, vaccinating and general care.

We have some interesting characters with us just now including Mr Norris our kitten with a nasal occlusion and Angelica & Calypso who are both suffering from Collagen Deficiency.  Angelica isn't affected too badly but Calypso's heart is enlarged and she has laxicity in her legs which make them look deformed as she walks in her elbows almost.  That said all 3 have a great quality of life here at the Harbour.

We're now embarking on a plan to have a new building put up in the garden to enable us to better house and care for the kitties and hopefully expand the spaces we have available.  Its a HUGE undertaking but we're positive we can do it.

I'm hoping to pop back on tomorrow with more updates and pics for you all.  But while I had the chance I just wanted to say hi and let you all know we are still working very hard.
