Both look great :) ive seen people make catbeds out of old jumpers too!

I just found this video on You Tube explaining how to make this wonderful cat bed, they sell them on Ebay with £9 delivery.  With the tutorial you could make it out of two bits of old fabric and stuff with socks or the like:
