I'm the owner of five cats, one of whom has become increasingly distressed over the past few months. This has manifested through decreased appetite and inappropriate elimination, i.e. weeing outside the box. She's been checked by a vet and subjected to blood tests and urinalysis, both of which came back clear. A consultation with a behaviourist suggested that the poor cat is fed up of living with so many other animals. We've tried numerous approaches to improve the situation but it's getting worse and worse. For that very sad reason, I'm in the unexpected position of having to find a new home for my lovely cat (and possibly her daughter too, if anyone is interested in adopting a pair).
She's five years old, black and white, spayed and vaccinated. She's very friendly and outgoing - loves people - and might enjoy a busy household where she can get lots of attention. She's always lived indoors but it's likely that she would enjoy going out, so an indoor home is not essential. She would, obviously, need a slow introduction into going out, however. She's never had any illnesses apart from these stress episodes, which have been caused by my special needs pet. She loves most of my cats and would probably be okay in a multi-cat household provided none of the cats is a bully and there is enough space. There are five cats and me in a two-bedroom flat right now, so you can see why she may have become so upset. I've had her since the age of 10 months, when her original owner's visa expired and he returned to Canada.

I live in Norfolk but would deliver my cat as far as my car can take me. I'm hopeful (if not deluded) that a new owner may even keep in touch with me and let me know how she's doing.
This is a really good natured pet who deserves an environment that's pleasing to her. She's very lashed out at, or bitten, me. She's playful and sociable and very affectionate. She's not a lap cat but likes to be close by, and follows you from room to room so she can be in on the action.
