For anyone wondering about the compatibility of using a Pet Remedy refill in a Feliway diffuser, they are interchangeable, the thread on the two bottles is the same, however the pet remedy diffuser is much better quality than the feliway one, will let you know if I notice any difference in calming effects zzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Feliway Vs Pet Remedy Debate / Dreamies B

I have it on good authority that these are single serving packs and no peg is required...

Have ordered my pet rescue now and hoping for tranquility ...

Yes, I noticed these in Home Bargains last week but decided against them as they were not in resealable packets,

We use pegs .........  :-[

.......... would I need a new diffuser if I tried the Pet Remedy or are they interchangeable?

From googling, people seem to say no but I just screwed a pet rescue refill into a feliway diffuser.  It looks odd though so not sure if it would actually work as it should.

Yes, I noticed these in Home Bargains last week but decided against them as they were not in resealable packets, though with hindsight perhaps with the rate we're going through them that is not actually a problem  however as luck would have it they also had triple packs of the normal sized packs of dreamies (three different flavours) for £2.49 so I got those instead.

Having properly read the description of Pet Remedy I am going to buy a single pack with the difuser and a twin pack of refils as they are cheap at the moment, if I can use one of the refills in the feliway diffuser then I can try one downstairs for Monty's spraying problem and use the new one for the ferals in Georges Room.
I am slightly concerned about the description on the website "Ideal for all pets including dog stress, cat stress, rodents, horses and all other mammals and birds (It will also have equally beneficial effects on humans!)" If George de stresses any more we may need to invest in a defibrillator to wake him up  ;)

As an aside, quality save are selling the small packets of dreamies (30g as opposed to the normal 60g packets) for 29p  ;)

We have started using Pet Remedy instead of Feliway which is much cheaper and works as well with our lot ....

Thanks for the tip Rosella, would I need a new diffuser if I tried the Pet Remedy or are they interchangeable?

Depends on how many you want to buy but suggest you compare deals on VetUK, Medicanimal and Animed Direct.  Don't forget postage is free with Animed and Medicanimal.

We have started using Pet Remedy instead of Feliway which is much cheaper and works as well with our lot ....  I think although OH thinks the odour put Noni off her food so we moved the plug in form hall to lounge.  A bit of an odour at first but don't notice it after a short while.  Again I would compare those three sites for prices of you want to give Pet Remedy a go.

Glad Hiss is chilling out a bit  :Luv2:

And comments please if this would be useful for our ferals...
I had already bought one of these to stop Monty spraying in the house, it didn't seem to make a difference so I moved it up into George's room to see if it helped with the kittens, just noticed that it is really low so I need to decide if I should replace it and if so where I can get the best buy as these two are already costing me a fortune in dreamies so need to save my pennies!

George and Hiss, now venturing onto his bed for dreamies after two weeks social therapy.
