Hi Bekki
Where abouts are you? I'm from Teesside and know that s.a.r.a.org at Redcar have many cats and kittens as do Blue Cross at Thirsk, Cat Protection and there is also Sadberge and Great Ayton RSPCA Centre. Plus many, many local smaller rescues you can find on Cat Chat
I got my last 2 from S.A.R.A (both times i only went "for a look"
) amyway, good luck!! and great to pick a rescue!

Cats are independent, don't listen, don't come in when you call, stay out all night and when they're home they like to be left alone to sleep....Every quality that Women HATE in a Man, they LOVE in a Cat...

Hope you find the perfect brother or sister for Arya
My geography isn't great - is that covered by Durham?
If so then have a look here:
http://www.catchat.org/adoption/durham.html
If not then select the appropriate county from here

We have one house cat female who is 8 months and we would like another kitten/cat any age is fine as long as neutered, vaccinated and used to being a house cat.
Our current cat Arya is semi long haired so we are used to fur so we would happily have a long haired.
I have a real love for shynx cats but as they are pretty rare I doubt any will be needing homes locally :-)
