What a lovely welcome from you all.

Sue, both my sons  cats (although probably not quite as  about them as I am).   They had to really  as we had cats for nearly 10 years before we had kids and they've never known a home without cats.

Toffee has now really integrated with her brother & sister, after not being with them for two months and obviously there being no recognition when they were reintroduced, and the best yet  she has now got onto my lap all by herself without me putting her there.

Anyway, here they are all together

Toffee is the latecomer (tortoisehell/white).   She was tiny when we got her and only weighed the same at three months as her brother and sister did at two months.   She is growing well now though.   Their mother is a tortoiseshell and sadly had to be released back to the garden after neutering as she is extremely wild.   My son is putting food out for her so hopefully she will be alright.   We think the father is black as there is a black male hanging around but he doesn't seem to be feral, just a bit shy.   The two other kittens which now own my son's friend are a black/white girl with markings very similar to Pixie and a black/white male quite similar to Minnie.

I've just found this wonderful forum anw wanted to say hello to you all.

I currently have three cats and three kittens, all rescues.   The kittens were all from a feral litter found in my son and his housemates' garden in September.   They found four kittens about 5 weeks old and in poor condition, took them to a vet and looked after them brilliantly for two weeks.   I couldn't resist two of them and the other two have found a good home with one of their friends.   A couple of days later they saw the mother cat with another kitten but were unable to get hold of them.   They disappeared for several weeks but when they turned up again he managed to catch the kitten and eventually trap the feral mother and get her neutered.   Anyway, how could I not have this kitten as well.   She is still rather nervous and timid but is coming out of her shell now.   It really helps that she has her brother and sister to play with and to show her that most humans aren't too bad really!!!
