export of live animals - rspca epetition

Dear Supporter,

Yesterday, despite RSPCA objections and severe weather warnings, a ship left Ramsgate port at 11am carrying two lorry loads of sheep on an open deck in gale force winds.

The ship eventually turned back due to the severe weather, arriving at Ramsgate at 4:30pm.

Some animals had been crammed aboard trucks for 14 hours, 6 of those hours spent at sea in a gale. Just imagine how they felt...

We say enough is enough. Animals should not be shipped live from this country. Demand that Parliament ends the suffering of hundreds of thousands of our fellow creatures.

You have a voice, they don’t. Sign the Number 10 petition now!

After just three days we're a tenth of the way there, help us reach 100,000 signatures to show the UK Government that we will not stand by and watch this cruelty.

Please share this message with your families, friends and workmates, with your support, we will end this vile trade once and for all.

Violet, RSPCA campaigner
