I switched from Frontline to Advantage a few months ago with no issues so hopefully Harry will be OK with it

This is Harry today.

I spoke with the vet today as we had to take Poppy and Charlie in for their boosters. I asked her if it was likely that he was having a reaction to the Advocate, as the time frame for him not being so well was the same as when he had to have tests etc when we first brought him home.

She said that it could be and to use Advantage next month and not the Advocate, and try him on it again in a year or so when he is bigger.

She also said that the others may be picking at him because he is quite himself.

Hopefully that will take the edge of it for them - doesn't sound like full on war, more like a small disagreement so hopefully the  Feliway will do the trick and the boys can make up!

Thankyou, I have ordered 2 new Feliway, and I'm going to get a refill tomorrow, we also have the pet remedy plug ins. Overkill.lol

They get a lot of playtime and they go out for a couple of hours in the morning and all evening(as long as its not raining) Fairweather cats).

Our household morphs and changes on a weekly basis as to who is in charge. I have a feliway too but found it only worked for a few days, after which it seemed to lose potency somehow.

Make sure they get plenty of exercise, especially the aggressor, use your lazer pen and dabird to good effect and things will soon start to calm down.

Thanks Helen, Wordy does smack him on the head, and grumble at him, then he eats from the same dish and next to him etc. So its a bit confusing to me.

They all get lots of attention, and at their usual times/places.

We have the nature plug in,(can't remember what its called), I will order a new Feliway refill.

Oh bless him Do you know why he's nervous of him? Does he 'pick on him'? If Wordy steals his food then I think I'd feed them separately if possible but if you moved his litter tray what would stop Wordy or the others using iit in the other room?

Might be worth trying a Feliway plug-in, they work wonders with my Lu

I'm getting a bit worried about Harry, he seems to be getting scared of Wordy, which in turn is making him bit nervy with us. Would it be a good idea to move a litter tray and food and water into the room where we kept him to start with? Not to shut him.
