Hi,
As some maybe aware I have 2 cats, Slushy and Gizmo. We have had some issues with Gizmo's health but that all seems to be resolved now.
However yesterday one of the cats had sprayed on a rug in the bedroom (assuming sprayed as the area was not especially wet) which was not seen but certainly smelt. I cleaned the area. However today whilst me and the missus were in the bedroom, Slushy came in and proceeded to full urinate in one of Mrs. Redfan's shoes that was in the room.
Obviously this has worried me considerably. Also, I have this evening found 2 sites that appear to be on the carpet in the living room (assuming spraying as not especially wet, also assuming given the smell they are pretty recent). I have washed these areas.
Any ideas why this is suddenly happening? I have read some of the guides here and I do believe that the problem may well relate to previously (in other thread) mentioned behaviour problems regarding Slushy dominating Gizmo.
We have no idea which one is doing the spraying or whether its both of them. They are both using the tray without issue, though Slushy has been urinating 1 small amount and then 2 mins later going back and urinating a large amount (all in tray).
Could this pretty much be down to the behaviour / Sexual territory issues? and if so will the Neutering correct it? (Slushy is booked in for end of next week) In the mean time, any advice on how we can go forward as this is becoming a real issue for us
Many thanks
