how about Isis ? its my daughters middle name....she complains all cats are called Willow (her first name) so a kitty named Isis would really freak her out

actually worrying that he has snakes which is making me wonder if thats where the litter mates have gone but trying really hard not to think that

watching them play id agree and say theyre a bit older and your right there ears are up eyes are bright and alert though very blue but that not really much to go on just cos of how tiny they are i feel they must be younger, think i might want them to be younger so that how tiny they are is justified and it isnt that the

Sarah think you better steal all the mans food.I am certain about their age, size doesnt count for anything when making an assesment apart from gauging how underweight they are, look at those ears standing up proud kittens can only do that from 4 weeks on, look at those eyes. I say 6 weeks old but then I`m not an expert.
Perhaps you could let us know what they weigh

hey teresa think ile have to get a pic to show you how small they are cos if they are that old im going after the guy who had em before and im stealing all his food so he can end up a skeleton wrapped in skin!!
I know i keep saying they are tiny and iv had some pretty small kittens but these are just TINY

On a good note though they are pooping well, they have learnt (how quick do they learn!!) that before they can coem out they have to go in the litter tray but they havent linked it to pooping before they coem out lol so they just sit in the tray meowing at me lol. Funkie chicken your right it was at first a proepr little bum massage to get em moving at first but i think they were just a bit freaked with the moving around and 2 new environments in one day so thats why they were needed a bit more, now they just need a quick stroke on top of tail and they get idea.

They are real characters though, got my cheek bitten off merlin last night which really hurt and was a total shock as he was just climbing up my chest and then i think he couldnt manage to reach my shoulder properly so thought ile bite that and use it as leverage, thought he was going to pull my cheek off!!
He a litter butter! Beats his sister up something terrible was chewing her tail last night and she meowed which i can understand cos he has sharp little front ones!! Hasnt got back teeth though

so think that why he biting gum must be aching a bit??? I dont know if kitten gums ache when teeth are coming through?

Liking name suggestions, i like shortening morgana to morgan and then we get merlin and morgan

Not an expert on the kitties but Nuggie was a tiny snip of a lad (5wks or a bit less) and if he seemed bewildered in his tray i just gentley stroked his belly. Dont know if this worked on any sort of medical/kittencare/official capacity but it certainly helped him get "moving" ? No pressure, just like a stroking??
But then I'm talking about the cat who, nearly 10years later STILL needs escorting to his food bowl. He's played me all his life

and I still fall for it

They look easily 5-6weeks old and so will poop without stimulation, kitten food is fine but if you feel they need building up then cimicat or Royal Canin vital milk is fine,but do remember milk is a food.
Beautiful kittens good luck with them.

We got ours pretty young, and (sorry to drag the conversation down a level) I remember thinking 'how can something so big come out such a little bum hole?!

If the boy is merlin what about morgan (or morgana) or gwen / gwin whatever she is called?

well here they are merlin for the boy (loving that series at min) but lil tort needs a name? apologizing for the quality used camera on phone
theyre doin fine, merlin is very bold and has quickly shown his sister how to climb to the top of the bars

Yer theyre guzzling felix kitten pouches mashed up with water (im not 100% sure they can reach the water so iv added it into food) and they have just finished off the pouch i opened for them this morning but with them eating so much im pretty sure they must be needing to poop more!! they've both had a second poo now but it does seem an awful long time between poops lol.

Hopefully the kitten experts on here will be along before too long. In the meantime...

2) I would think not as it would probably be too much for them to digest.

3) Is it Cimicat you're thinking of? What have the rescue said about feeding them? Are they already eating solids? Sorry if that's a silly Q, I have no idea of timescales for kittens.

think its cimicat gill thanks lol was hurting my head trying to think of it, ile have to overload you lot with cute photos later as iv been dragged into work for a few hours.

dont tell anyone but i think iv got fleas... dont know whether its cos i knew the kitten did so now im tricked into thinking theyre on me or cos i have actually been infected but im itchy!!!

I would think that more nuggets will be forthcoming soon without help and not sure whether they should have my trick cos maybe too young.

Got 2 new foster babes in last night, a pure black and a nortie torty. Cant be much passed three weeks if that, tiny little things, wobbly little legs, blue eyes etc and stuff wobbly legs might just be because of how skinny they are tho... Back story cp were contacted by a guy saying his cat had given birth to five kittens and said he didnt want them anymore in his house and when they went round (few days later due to transport etc) there was only the two little mites left, dont know what happend to other three. Mum was taken for nuetering aswell

Other than being far too skinny and very tiny and very young they seem okay, having a little romp with each other alert and stuff....

Anyway few questions.
1. how often should they be pooing? They are eating really well, but i got them yesterday at 3ish and since then theyve both only had one poo that with me doing the cotton bum massage lol theyre weeing well tho....
2. If they are a little bunged are they too young to have a bit of gills trick with the condensed milk?

3. Do you think it would be worth giving them some weaning milk forgert what its called starts with a c?

4. How much are you dying for photos?
