I'm sure there are various oils that are good for the coat (dropped onto food) but in light of the other medical issues I would definitely check with your vet as anything that may be OK for a 'normal' cat could be contraindicative with the other issues he has.

Treatment for dermatitis

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about treating this condition. my cat is on medication for pancreatirtis and hypothyroidism. Iam reducing the dosage under guidance from the vet, but  his skin has become itchy, flaky etc. He has to be on a low fat diet so i think he may be experiencing problems because of lack of oils and fats in his diet. Are there  any supplements that I could use without setting off his pancreatitis?   :thanks:
