We would like to be able to give all the rescues at the Nowzad Shelter in Afghanistan a special treat on Christmas Day and we figured a good way of doing this would be to prepare them an extra special Christmas Lunch with Turkey/Chicken and extra veggies and gravy!
We currently have in the region of 80 dogs and 15 cats at the shelter and the staff at the shelter do everything possible to give them a comfortable and loved life. They love the toys, treat and dog food that has been purchased and sent in by our fabulous Nowzad family but we really do want to make this Christmas Extra special for them!
Can you spare just £1 or $1 to help us achieve this, it only takes a minute and it will make a huge difference to the animals at the shelter who will not be at home with loving families being pampered this Christmas.
Nowzad, Tali, Patch, Kilo, Pablo & Cristo as featured in our 2011 official Christmas Card will all be home in front of a warm fire this Christmas but please don't forget the animals who won't be home for Christmas.
