Its the least I could do
I knew he couldnt be helped health wise, but I couldnt leave him on the road
I hope his family get closure and can grieve for their baby xx
I lost mine recently and he went away to die - I always said i just need to know, good or bad. I couldnt carry on wondering, living in hope or imagining all sorts of terrible things - and thats why, at least this poor baby has been scanned & logged
i'll also be keeping my eyes open for Lost posters etc just so I can let them know too

RIP Furr-Baby that had tragically been hit by a Car on the Road today
I so hope your loving Family have you back
my Baby-Tazi & all those on the Bridge will take care of you xx
I was driving to work this morning and I spotted a poor furr-baby who had tragically lost its life, sometime before, on the road
I couldnt stop as major roadworks on a busy "A" road & had the middle of the road and pavement side coned off (fortunately he/she was inbetween the cones on the centre of the road and not near cars) So I decided to go to the top road crossing and then turn to come back down other side, back toward home, to get the poor thing off the road and to the Vet (you could see he had gone but his family needed to locate his whereabouts somehow) as the otherside had a works entrance i could pull into.....then at the traffic lights I saw a Police Officer and shouted him over. He said he will get the poor thing and get him scanned etc and for me not to worry - he went straight there.
Big hugs for that Baby's family
just wish I did go back anyway so that I could find out where they had him taken to
xx
