Makes such a change to hear positive stories involving animals  :)

And about governments!
You can't change the world by rescuing one cat, but for that one cat you are changing its world.

I thought the same thing! I've no doubt charities and volunteers would do this here but the government covering the cost is just phenominal!!! With a dedicated hotline! Fantastic xx

I saw this today and thought it was a fantastic story - it says a lot for Thai society that so much effort is being made by them and the government to ensure not only the citizens but animals of Bangkok are safe.
