Thank you for the lovely welcome.

Actually my boyfriend was looking for a rescue cat to look after so I googled cat rescue - he found two cats that he is offering a new home to (two fluffy white cats, both with no ears 'cus they've had ear cancer! ) and I spotted Sonny in the desperate for re-homing section on this site. He had already agreed to have the fluffy ones at his house and I just couldn't resist Sonny's story so I thought that I could step in!.  We are soooooooo soft!!!!!

Hi Everyone
My name is Lisa and I am 36 years old.  I joined Purrs yesterday because of the sad story of Sonny, the 18yr old gent that is at risk of PTS.  Broke my heart! I'm such a sucker for cats! I have had many family cats including a big male ginger tom called Trigger, 3 strays including a blind cat and my last cat was the naughtiest feral tortie who was rescued at three weeks old from a hedge in the countryside by my brother as she had been dumped - she was in a right state but I loved her soooooooooo much (even the naugtiness). Sadly she passed away two years ago. I work from home so could offer love and attention befitting to an older cat xxxxxxxxxxxx
