Tiggy's eyes were open which I found quite distressing, it sounds like maybe Ollie knew it was her time and was tired hence her eyes being closed

I think thats lovely
Both my cats Kocka and Napoleon had their eyes open and I asked the vet if she would close Kockas eyes but she said she couldnt , maybe Ollie was sorta closing her eyes as she passed up to the Bridge.

we had to have her pts she had kidney disease and her kidneys had stopped working so there was nothing else they could do for her

so sorry for your loss ive never heard of that before when we put our solo to sleep he was heavily sedated his eyes where wide open and looking at me he knew i was there for him poor thing i asked the vet if his eyes closed he said no so i dont really know tbh was your furbaby ill at the time ?? or passed with old age again so sorry for your loss i hate hearing of poor little furbabies passing breaks my heart

just wanted to ask about something that it playing on my mind. When Ollie passed she had her eyes closed and even the vet remarked that they dont usually do that. Any one else have any experiance of this?
