In my experience, male kittens, if young enough, will be more easily accepted by adult toms and queens alike. Tomcats are more outgoing, more sociable, as long as you neuter them early enough, meaning NO later than 6 monthw, and possibly earlier, if they start maturing early.
In the ISA, they will neiter tomcats from 15 weeks onwards. I htink that is a little early, but as long as the testicles are in place and can be removed, there is no real argument against is.
The cats will grow a bit bigger, sleeker and have a slightly smaller head, more like a queen's, but that's it.
