OK .... another shameless plug for the Auction  :evillaugh:  I'm not gonna tell ya what's gonna be on offer (so don't ask) .... but I can guarantee there are gonna be some super duper items.  We will have several 1 off "special" items (things being created just for us).

And for the "mug hunters" out there I have something very special for you guys ... you're gonna love it!  ;)

Please to hear the Clan Cats have been saving their pennies.  Sorry we won't be able to accept Mist Puppy guys (even if Mummy would let you put him in the auction) ... you know the rule "A puppy is for tormenting ... not for auctioning" :rofl:

The Clan cats have some things for the auction cause we has been saving our pocket money and been using Daddy's credit card for all the useful things :rofl:

We did have a meeting and decided Mist puppy could go in the aution but Mummy said No :shocked: :rofl:

I've got 3 items ready and the S&P and egg cup set that Pav won last year and wanted me to re-auction on her behalf.

Officially Summer, thats a good one  :rofl: :rofl:

Just would like to say also that the items put in by the members are always wonderful but a huge request this year, please do not donate collars unless they are the safety ones with breakaway clasps.

We dont like to upset anyones feelings when they have gone to the time and trouble to buy things to auction for the needy cats in the chosen rescue but we really want items for cats to be as safe as possible, pleaseeeeeeee.  ;D ;D

I just cant believe we are over halfway through this year........sigh

The boys have asked for no presents this year and all their pressies to be auctioned (well, OK they haven't but little do they know that this is what will be happening  :evillaugh:)

OK I know it's only July and still officially Summer  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:  But before you know it the nights will be drawing in and thoughts will turn to Christmas.

Now those of you that were here last year (and the year before and the year before that lol) will know that the main event in the Purrs Calendar is the Pre-Christmas Auction.  For the new members who haven't yet experienced the madness and mayhem that is "The Auction" you are in for a treat  ;)

Anyway, the reason for this post is to give you all plenty of warning that the auction is coming (dates to be confirmed but it will be end of November / beginning of December ish)  so start saving your pennies cuz there will be loads of fabulous items to bid on (the list is growing daily with some wonderful donations).  All you knitters and crocheters out there now is the time to get your needles and hooks out and start making items to be sold (I know how many patterns were sold last year so I'm hoping to see some of these items made up  :rofl: :rofl:).

I appreciate that times are hard this year but I also know what an incredibly generous bunch you all are so let's make this years auction another fun and fabulous event and raise lots of money for the kitties in rescue.
