Dawn - thanks.. I was lucky it was found in time (completely by chance) and even more lucky to be able to have a robotic assisted laparoscopy to get rid of it...

Had to call in sick at work today as not feeling to good, probably went to work too early (2 weeks) after the surgery but have good and bad day, today being the bad one so just taking it easy and staying in bed most of the time.

Zara just went out with the dog walker, 3 out of my 4 boys went out to the garden, Fred stayed - Fred is a special case, he does not like going out in case he misses something (anything) going on in the kitchen ;)

Thanks - so I have 4 boy cats now and a girl dog, did you see the viseo? LInke 3 posts down hehehe :)

So all turned out ok, with a lot of help fro a lot of people :)

Zara now needs an op though, possible total hips replacement, we are going to Fitzpatrick Referrals on the 28th...

Not to mention I ended up in a hospital myself and had my kidney/adrenal gland removed (cancer) on the 21st April - had biopsy results now and all seem to be ok, they are pretty sure they cut everything nasty out. I had robotic assisted laparoscopy and went back to work 2 weeks after the op - brave or mad I do not know but felt almost ok so went back...

Now Zara needs an op so...

Life, huh?

Thanks again :)

I THINK there were 2 threads about Lucy running as a friend started one before I got my logging sorted.

Anyway pls move to rehomes and sorry for not updating earlier....

The whole story on how they went home (from the time my daughter "adopted" Lucy as a foster cat) is here - if anyone wants to read :)

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3628905

Lucy had 3 (!!!) threads on MSE site - loads and loads of photos....

Thanks a lot again

Oh dear - I am so sorry.. I was sure I have updated the thread......

So...

Lucy was spayed when the babies were 6 weeks old, at Celia Hammond in Canning Town - they have kindly spayed Lucy for free and wormed/flea treated both Lucy and kittens.

As Lucy's new mum was picking her up from CH herself, Lucy was also microchipped at the same time with her new mum's details.

Her mum is very happy with her and sends me updaes from time to time which is great.....

Lucy in her new home - with that thorn ear that she always had, her special mark ;)

Unfortunately one of the kitties died at 4 weeks, my daughter took him to the vets in the evening but he died at night, broke our hearts but.....those things happen... :(

The remaining 5 - 2 girls went to one lovely lady who's cat has died at the age of 18 years... herself her partner and daughter love the girls to pieces  they called them Harry and Red:

Still at my daughter's:

In their new home:

One of the boys went to a friend from MSE forum, he is MASSVE, the biggest of them all... His name is Dizzie...

Still at my daughter's:

At his new home:

Anotherboy went to a friend of a friend and they called him.... Adolf (!!!)

Still at my daughter's:

At his new house:

The last little boy - the smallest, plain stripey tabby scruff was supposed to be picked up but it didnot hapen so I took it as a sign and he styed with me and my gang here.

Zara of course immediately adopted him as hers.....I am tottaly shocked he did not learn to bark (yet) LOL

This is Macius:

At my daughter's:

With me;

And the best of the best - Macius adopting Zara as his mum and Zara loving it ;)

OK - a bit of an update.

We have prospective homes for either 3 kittens or Lucy and 2 kittens, home check next Wednesday so fingers crossed.....

They will be rehomed straight from my daughter's, directly into permanent homes.....

Sheila - thanks a million for all your help.

Oh my goodness they are adorable  :Luv: Thank heavens she had your family to look after her. She has done so well as she was huge but still a tiny cat. The babies look nice and chunky and lots of luck finding great homes for them x

They are absolutely gorgeous :Luv: Fingers crossed that you can find loving homes for them all.

Your daughter is an angel taking Lucy in, to think she would be raising her babies on the street if she hadn't taken her in :(

Lucy is now a proud mum to ... 6 tabby babies....
Pls note they are regular tabbies, not silver - 2 of the look silver on the photos but they are regular lovely tabbies....2 have white socks, 1 has white face and socks, 2 are darker and 1 is same as Lucy...

Lots of photos and some info here:

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3533197

Babies will be 8 weeks old on 30th November, both Lucy and the babies need lovely, permanent homes.

Mervyn - thanks a lot for posting for me, got my own account on here now so will bump this one up.

Lucy still did nto have her kittens, she is a little purring machine and forever demanding cuddles from my daughter and her boyfriend.

Tiney little thing herself, same age (or younger even) as my daughter's 2 female cats (Fiona and Phoebe are just over a year old, both neutered)

Lucy is hissing a bit at Fiona and Phoebe but obviously she may be a bit hormonal...

Lucy can stay at my daughter's till the babies arrive and are weaned and ready for new homes but not longer I am afraid. Daughter already has 2 cats and landlord is not too happy, never mind a third one. I myself have 4 cats and a german shepherd dog so again - no good really. Already have a problem with one of my cats hating the dog as it is, can not make the sitaution worse.

So Lucy and kitties will need homes - right before Xmas......

A photo of Lucy from yesterday (the one on laminate floor) - when I went to visit her and another one (with a pink dish) when I picked her up from the house where someone left her behind - before I took her to my daughter's place.:

Just seen that the original poster has taken her in temporarily, really hope somewhere can be found for her. She looks tiny, far too young to be having babies herself :(

Read this on the MSE board;

Quote
Just had an email from my daughter that someone from her work moved into shared flat where a cat keeps on coming/trying to come in - cat looks like a pregnant female but they are not sure.

Apparently the cat was left behind after someone moved out of the flat, apparently cat still considers the flat his/her home and keeps on trying to get in poor thing.

Some of the current tenents would like to keep her /him but some do not want a cat inside so....

I have 4 cats and a dog, can not take the poor thing in unless on a very short, temporary basis.

I am thinking possibly Celia Hammond in Canning Town - can anyone suggests any other alternative?

Do not want to leave the cat as it is as it may be pregnant (they say it is very fat but do not know for sure) and lives outside at the moment

I do not know people myself, they just work with my daughter...

Poster has tried the shelters in the area but no joy.Can anyone help?...
