I've heard of these.  Are they as good as people say they are?

One word - YES!  :wow:

The concept of it sounds pretty unremarkable 'feathers on a pole' yawn, yawn - but :omg: it's soooo much more than that!

The same goes for the mouse attachment, it's 'just' a teeny mouse and I have no idea what it's made of but my two go absolutely crazy for it

This is my cat with Da bird:

This is him with Da Mouse:

He was quite young when those pics were taken so doesn't go quite as high nowadays but still not far off!

When my Jazz was a kitten he would play with his da bird until he had to lie down and pant and he used to drag it around the house behind him - it is the only toy he has ever been like that with.
Think it might be time for a new one!  ;)
To be found you first have to be lost and someone has to love you enough to look for you

We did some search engine optimizing yest and got the Da bird toy info page ready last night and up but it will take a about a week (can take up to a month) i would think for the searches to pick up the new page for us. The site www.da-bird.co.uk  old site was shut down for a while so hence the 404 error links. Hopefully  the new Da Bird page for us will appear on 1st page  :wish:

New bulk stock is almost in from Go Cat USA. The single da bird rods are in.
I expected it all on Friday but only one shipment arrived. Have 3 coming all together. The other two sadly ended up Sweden as there was a mistake in the country on the shipping code label. One is in Customs and will be with me Tuesday, the last one went to Germany 1st from USA, then got sent to Sweden and now on route to UK   Sadly it does happen with imports sometimes and nowt i can do to speed up the stock arrival but all the stock should be with me next week. :)

Onwards and upwards for the Purrs shop and www.da-bird.co.uk  :wow:

On the technical side of things, if you google Da Bird there are a lot of dead (error 404) links that go to the old da-bird.co.uk website. Is there going to be a way to make them live again by turning those pages 'on' on the new website? Seems a bit of a waste of free advertising if not  :shy:

oooooh this should bring in more business ... and more money for rescues.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Because Purrs shop has now expanded to stock a higher volume of the Amazing Da Bird range cat toys from GoCat Feather toys USA and we now sell to UK trade Businesses :)  We have the domain name Da-Bird.co.uk :)

There is now a Toy Information page on the Da Bird Cat toy here - www.da-Bird.co.uk (which will be titivated with pics etc soon   :) ) with a link to the Purrs shop to buy the toys.
There is an introductory offer to new customers to the Purrs shop of 10% 1st order discount.  :)

I will also be bringing a Purrs members club points scheme for the shop products for Purrs members from Adult status and upwards. Just waiting for this software addon to completed and i will pop this up and post in Shop section of the forum when it's all working.  Idea is so Purrs members of the forum can get points while shopping on the Purrs shop to get discounts of future orders :)  Hopefully this software add on won't be too long but it may take a couple of months to be finished by Open Cart.
