Had to laugh last night. Suki's currently living upstairs, mainly in the spare room but in the main bedroom as well while we manage introductions to the new dog. Had her downstairs for a bit last night (new dog is so cat-friendly she tried to lick the cat-testing cat) and then she headed upstairs as the advance party to bed. Tried to move our other dog onto the sofa so I could get past and go load the dishwasher and he looked so utterly terrified at the thought of going on that sofa - because that sofa is the cat's sofa and he knows the wrath of moggie he'll get if he's caught on it.

Moggy wasn't even in the room at the time as well! Spot who's in charge very firmly in this house!
