Jesse felt much happier when his friend Maddie came out to play too, he watched her and followed her around for abit. luckily she didn't mind!

and then he explored some more!

Jesse's first trip out in the garden

Jesse has never seemed bothered about going outdoors until this week when he escaped twice! he ran outside but was rooted to spot with fear so he was easy to catch again. i decided it was time to try him outside and bought him a harness. Cole uses a harness at my parents' house but i have never used one until now. bar Lucie, Lexie, Polly and Poppy (occasionally Maddie and Leonie) no-one else goes outdoors (we have them indoor cats which makes it easier for us to care for them, as we often pop in each other's houses to check on the cats). Jesse found it scary at first but reassuring that i followed him every step of the way holding the lead. Lexie had a bit of a todo with Molly next door and Jesse hid behind me. i felt much better than when i first let the others out as i frighened they would bolt out of the garden first chance they got. Jesse did attempt to climb the fence but luckily the harness stopped him getting far. here are some photos for you to see of him enjoying outside for the first time!
