I let Mosi play with them as he loves them but I keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't try to eat them.  I'd let them have a little bat about with them if they want and then throw them all out.

ETA - just had my delivery and guess what's in the box?  Yup polystyrene squiggles!  Mosi is playing with one right now.

I might be a little worried just in case one got stuck in their throat when playing. Some of these are actually made of of rice stuff these days and the mice in our shed went mad for them! They sort of disintegate when they get damp so it must be an eco friendly move by the packagers.
Ours like ping pong balls but they keep batting them under furniture!

Strangely enough I received a parcel this morning and it had the green poly squiggles in it too.  Must admit I have thrown them away as I am bothered that Bonnie might get one and I don't see it and it harms her.  Try a ping pong ball instead - they are light weight and I know lots of cats who have fun with them.

Spoil sports aren't we  ;)

I have just caught Miney and Mo having a great time playing with some polystyrene squiggles they have pinched out of a parcel hubby left lying around, are they safe for playing with so long as I keep an eye on them and make sure they don't eat any?
