I thought it might be useful to know what websites people use and trust, I quite often see items on websites a bit cheaper than where I normally get them from but as I've not used/heard of the company before am sometimes a bit wary to order.
I'll start us off but would be good to hear what sites other people use and trust...
www.vetuk.co.uk - Free delivery when on orders over £19 - Have used them for several years, normally the cheapest for the things I buy. Fairly quick delivery although they have been getting a bit slower lately. They donate 5% to cat rescue if you click through these links
Paws Inn /
CovCats /
Canterbury CPwww.petsathome.com- Free delivery on orders over £29 - Online version of Pets at Home. Good offers BOGOF etc 10% off your fist online order if you sign up to the newsletter.
Zooplus - Free delivery on orders over £19 - Have purposely not put a link to Zooplus as there is a link at the bottom of the page that gives Purrs rescue fund 5% every time you click on the link and order (also 10% off your first order). There used to be an issue with poor packaging (ie thin single walled boxes for 30kg of cat food!) but recent orders have been well packed in thick boxes with those plastic strips binding the box together. Huge variety of foods, some not available in the UK anywhere else. Very reasonable prices. Some items are sent from Germany so can take a day or so longer than ordering from UK websites. Normally very quick delivery via Parcelforce.
www.petplanet.co.uk - Free delivery on orders over £29 - Have only recently started using them but am very impressed, despatch can sometimes take a few days but they send by 24hr citylink courier so overall fairly good delivery speeds. Very good customer service, prices are generally very competitive and they seem to have some good offers on too.
www.rlpetproducts.co.uk - Delivery £3.60 - Good customer service, very quick delivery. I placed a bulk order over the phone and received a decent discount and delivery was also free although I can't see anything mentioned on their website so maybe ring or email first if placing a large order.
